WOW...Best kept secret in Baton Rouge. DELICIOUS FOOD and the service was terrific and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I hope to return sooner than later. Well, I've been back and can say I doubt I will return. They advertise a free ice cream cone with dine-in but yet the machine is always down...
As usual restaurants closed early on weekends in this city so I decided to try Golden Chick Saturday. I weaseled in before closing time to get a chicken sandwich, but I was out of luck. David and the crew hooked me up with chicken tenders and mac n cheese. It was all damn good! The seasoning on the chicken was perfect, the macaroni was hot to the last bite and the soft Hawaiian roll was outstanding. Some of the best customer service I encountered for fast food restaurants. You have to try Golden Chick for a great eating experience!

I just went to the Golden Chick on Airline & it was delicious. I ordered the catfish/shrimp combo with coleslaw. The fish was light/flaky, no fishy taste at all. The shrimp were large. The coleslaw was perfect, in fact I should have gotten another! The service was friendly & quick. The location was very clean. I’ll be going back.
